ANNUAL FINS FOR FONS FISHING TOURNAMENT

The Dave Fons Memorial Fund began hosting a fishing tournament in Florida in 2020. Since then, the event has grown exponentially into what it is today thanks to our incredible sponsors and anglers. We now host Junior and Adult divisions, as well as Offshore and Inshore divisions. In addition to the fishing tournament, our two-day event features a cocktail party, captain’s meeting, raffle, and awards banquet.

We are excited to announce that the 2026 Fins for Fons Fishing Tournament will once again be held at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village in Cape Coral, Florida.

Our Captain’s Meeting will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, followed by tournament day on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

We look forward to another incredible year of fishing, community, and coming together in support of truck safety awareness and advocacy.

We offer Inshore & Offshore tournaments along with both Adult and Junior Angler divisions. Every year we have been fortunate enough to be able to offer a guided captain to our anglers for a fee in order to allow those without vessels to fish with us. We are so incredibly grateful to those who participate in our events whether you volunteer, sponsor, fish or join us as a guest it is each and every one of you who makes our events possible.
